Hi to everyone on the Forum,
Been checking out the site for a while, but only just got round to joining the Forum - D'oh!
Big hand to Jamie for setting up the site - it's a great little series that needs more exposure.
My favourite character has to be Umma in Series 2, just for how batty she is and the ridculous coded messages she comes out with - why she didn't get a spin-off series ...
Anyway, hope to speak to you all soon.
All the best,
Paul

Welcome to the Forum Raggedbone!
I'm glad you like the new C.A.B. HQ Website, hopefully it will help fans remember the show much more - it is about time there was something on the internet about this show. Hopefully the website will create more interest in the programme - such a gem from the eighties shouldn't be forgotten.
Hope to see you on the forum soon,
Jamie (Secret Agent C.A.B.)

Hello to the Forum,
Surfing the web late at night, I decided to Google two of the TV shows that I used to watch in the 80s, C.A.B. and Knightmare. Both went out on the same night (Friday, I think), and I remember being late for karate class each week after leaving home at the last minute, so that I could catch the end of the show.
I loved the first two series, and think that part of my fascination with detective stories and film noir comes from the books that I read and the programs that I watched when I was growing up in England. I remember entering the world of the show and its characters, in a way that I don't think would be possible with most children's T.V. today.
At the time, C.A.B. showed me that you could literally step through a door to another world, and that were strange connections between most things. I thought of it again a couple of years ago in Paris when I passed the wooden pyramid on the way to the glass-sided cinema museum that's always closed. It stirred a memory, which Jamie's website has helped me to recall.
When the DVD comes out, I'll be one of the first customers !

Hi Thomas, I'm glad you've found the C.A.B. HQ Website and the forum. We're trying to reunite fans of the show and to rekindle many of those forgotten or hazy memories people have of the show. The children's programmes from the eighties (and early nineties) seem to have been written with great imagination and C.A.B is a great example of this. This imagination and magical wonderment inspires young minds with creativity unlike the generic children's tv programmes of today which are utterly appalling. I'm glad the website has helped rekindle some of your memories of the show (more updates are in planning with hopefully something special coming really soon). It makes all the time and effort put into making a website worthwhile when people enjoy it and it helps them remember the programme. If you've not yet signed the petition to get C.A.B. released on DVD, please do, you can find the petition here: Bring C.A.B. Out On DVD Petition!
